L’artiste-musicien ivoirien Ernest Koffi dit Nst Cophie’s est décédé, dimanche, a appris APA de sources concordantes dans la capitale économique ivoirienne.

Le chanteur ivoirien NST Cophies est décédé aux Etats-Unis. Il y a quelques jours, des médias avaient annoncé qu’il était hospitalisé, et dans le coma. Ce 8 mars, nous apprenons que l’homme a rendu l’âme. A la suite d’une intervention chirurgicale. Il avait été opéré de la prostate, mais l’opération s’est apparemment mal passée, plongeant Ernest Koffi dans un coma de plusieurs semaines dont il n’est plus revenu.

NST Cophies ou Mister Zôgôda est un des chanteurs qui ont porté haut le flambeau de la musique ivoirienne pendant plusieurs décennies. ‘’Faya Largeau’’, ‘’Missié Bouaffo’’, ‘’Z à Z’’, ‘’Zôgôda N’zoué’’ ou encore ‘’Zopio dance’’ sont, entre autres, les titres qui ont fait le succès de ce chanteur.

Depuis une trentaine d’années, l’artiste ivoirien vivait en France où il avait sa propre boîte de production qui est Nst Cophie’s top on the Pop pour l’Afrique.

Sa disparition vient plonger un peu plus encore la musique ivoirienne dans la détresse.
