Microfinances/dépôts collectés: le Togo, troisième meilleure progression dans l’UEMOA

Le ministre de l’inclusion financière et de l’organisation du secteur informel, Mme Mazamesso ASSIH a présenté ce 31 août 2022, au cours du Conseil des ministres, une communication relative à la situation de l’inclusion financière au 1er trimestre 2022.

Cette communication a permis de noter que le Togo affiche la troisième meilleure progression de l’Union économique et monétaire ouest-africaine en matière de progression des dépôts collectés.

De même, l’encours des crédits dans le secteur de la microfinance s’est accru de 38,3 % pour se situer à 327,6 milliards de FCFA contre 247,6 milliards de FCFA l’année dernière.

Cette progression vient conforter les actions du gouvernement afin d’accélérer l’accès de toutes les populations aux services financiers, conformément à l’axe 1 de la feuille de route gouvernementale.

Toutefois, il est à souligner que le taux brut de dégradation du portefeuille s’est accru d’où la nécessité de mettre en œuvre des réformes fortes pour l’assainissement du secteur afin de consolider la dynamique observée en matière d’inclusion financière.
