Les élèves des collèges et lycées publics de l’enseignement général et technique ne vont pas payer les frais de scolarité. C’est ce qu’indique le ministre Dodzi Komla Kokoroko dans une nouvelle note adressée aux chefs d’établissements relativement à l’inscription des élèves dans les établissements publics.
« Je voudrais, en rappel de la politique du gouvernement, attirer l’attention des chefs des établissements publics des enseignements général et technique, sur la gratuité des frais de scolarité en vigueur depuis l’année scolaire 2021-2022 », a indiqué d’entrée le ministre des enseignements primaire, secondaire, technique et de l’artisanat, rapporte « Togobreakingnews ».
Prof Kokoroko indique toutefois que les frais parallèles peuvent être perçus sur son autorisation ou par délégation des structures déconcentrées. Ces frais parallèles sont fixés comme suit: Trois mille (3000) francs CFA pour le premier cycle du secondaire (collège) et Cinq mille (5000) francs CFA pour le second cycle du secondaire (lycée) des enseignements général et technique.
« Aucun parent d’élève ne doit être soumis au paiement de frais supplémentaires ou spéciaux pour l’inscription aux examens, la fabrication de tables-bancs, l’achat de fournitures et de matériels ou pour tout autre besoin », a relevé le ministre.
Par ailleurs le ministre Prof. Dodzi Komla Kokoroko a invité les directeurs régionaux, les chefs d’inspection, les inspecteurs et les parents d’élèves à veiller au respect de la présente note de service et à en signaler tout contrevenant passible des sanctions en vigueur.
Il faut dire que c’est la 2e année consécutive que la mesure de gratuité de frais de scolarité est en vigueur dans les collèges et lycées du publics au Togo.
Une nouvelle qui va réjouir les parents qui s’apprêtent à effectuer la rentrée scolaire 2022-2023 à leurs enfants. Aussi faut-il le signaler, les enseignants effectuent la rentrée pédagogique et administrative le 19 septembre et les élèves suivront le 26 septembre prochain.
