Le Directeur général de la BRVM (Bourse régionale des valeurs mobilières), Dr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE a été nommé membre du Nasdaq Exchange Review Council. Le Togolais fait désormais partie de ce conseil pour un mandat de 3 ans.
L’Exchange Review Council est un comité consultatif indépendant permanent chargé de s’assurer de l’application cohérente et équitable des règles du marché liées à la discipline des membres et des organisations membres pour chacune des bourses du Nasdaq.
Le Directeur Général de la BRVM et du DC/BR vient ainsi de se hisser au sommet de la Finance Mondiale en intégrant l’un des Comités Spécialisés des bourses du Nasdaq (Nasdaq USA, Nasdaq Nordic et Nasdaq Baltic en Europe, Nasdaq Dubaï). Le Nasdaq est la première bourse technologique et deuxième bourse mondiale.
Selon la BRVM, Dr Edoh Kossi AMENOUNVE est le seul africain membre dudit Comité et probablement historiquement le 1er africain à intégrer une instance du Nasdaq à ce niveau depuis sa création en 1971.
